4 steps to connect
- Windsurf → top right of the Cascade panel → MCP → Add Server → choose HTTP and paste the JSON above.
- Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key (signing up credits you with $0.2 to try it).
- Ask for what you need in Cascade and it calls busybee's tools itself.
- For project-level setup, put the config in `.windsurf/mcp.json`, and keep the key out of the repository when you share with the team.

The Windsurf MCP panel shows whether each tool can be called. If the list is empty, first check that the URL ends in `/mcp` and not `/sse`.
What you can do after setup
Searching keywords for topics, pulling a given account's recent posts, comparing the same subject across platforms, reading the share of questions in the comments as a demand signal — none of it needs scraping code from you. The model picks the tools itself.

}FAQ
Do I need to write code?
No. Every step on this page happens inside the client's own interface.
Can the key leak?
Stick to the client's own credential store or an environment variable reference, and never commit the key.
Can I use the China platforms right away?
Overseas platforms work right after sign-up; Douyin and Xiaohongshu give new accounts 5 free trial calls (no balance deducted), after which a cumulative top-up of $30 unlocks them.
